MANAGING DIRECTOR

Skills & Competencies

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 12-15 years of progressive senior leadership experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in General Manager / Cluster GM / Area MD role at an international lifestyle or upscale hotel brand.
  • Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to develop and execute long-term strategies, drive business growth, and position the hotel as a market leader.
  • Operational Mastery: Strong background overseeing large-scale hotel operations (300+ keys) across Rooms, F&B, Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Revenue Management.
  • Financial Expertise: Demonstrated track record in maximizing RevPAR, GOP, EBITDA, and delivering consistent ROI to hotel owners.
  • Owner & Stakeholder Relations: Exceptional skills in managing relationships with owners, corporate headquarters, investors, and key business partners.
  • Brand Alignment: Deep understanding of lifestyle-driven hospitality concepts, with the creativity and agility to align with Radisson RED’s bold, energetic brand DNA.
  • People Leadership: Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire large, multicultural teams; proven success in succession planning and talent development.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong commercial acumen and understanding of competitive markets such as Phuket and other major tourist destinations.
  • Innovation & Adaptability: Forward-thinking leader who embraces digital transformation, sustainability, and evolving guest expectations.
  • Languages: Excellent command of English (both spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

GENERAL MANAGER (EXPAT OR LOCAL)

Skills & Competencies

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel operations, with at least 3-5 years in a General Manager or senior executive role at a lifestyle or upscale hotel brand.
  • Brand Knowledge: Prior experience with international hotel chains, preferably lifestyle-driven brands (Radisson Hotel Group experience is a strong advantage).
  • Leadership & People Management: Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams (200+ employees), foster a positive work culture, and drive employee engagement.
  • Operational Excellence: Strong background in Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Finance, and Revenue Management for high-volume hotels (300+ keys).
  • Financial Acumen: Demonstrated success in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and delivering sustained profitability.
  • Guest Experience: Passion for delivering exceptional guest satisfaction while maintaining brand standards and service innovation.
  • Commercial Skills. Track record of driving occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and GOP through effective sales, marketing, and revenue strategies.
  • Owner & Stakeholder Management: Experience in building strong relationships with hotel owners, corporate offices, and business partners.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly competitive market such as Phuket.
  • Languages: Excellent communication in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
